Trophy Winners
In our class, teacher has 3 trophies. If you try your best all week at school, you might win one! Teacher gives a trophy for The Most Improved Worker, The Pupil Of The Week and The Hardest Worker! Here are some pictures of our trophy winners from the last two weeks! Well Done!
Art Time!
We were learning about primary colours. We used them to mix secondary colours- green, orange and purple! Then we looked at the work of Piet Mondrian, a famous artist, and painted pictures just like his- with straight lines and lots of primary colours!
Maths Activity Time!
We had great fun using peg boards and counting teddies to make interesting patterns!

Laoise's Grandad
Laoise's Grandad came to visit to talk about when he was a boy.
He showed us pictures of the desks they used to use.They did not have pencils and pens like we do.Instead they all used ink pots which had to be filled with ink everyday.
He brought in some turf. Martin did not have radiators in school when he was a boy so they all brought in turf to put on the fire to keep warm.
He told us about the games they used to play like marbles and cowboys and indians.
They had great fun without television or computer games!

Bright Sparks!
We figured out how to make the bulb light up. We connected the wires from the battery to the bulb and it lit up. We found out that electricity travels in a circle.
