Our School Tour to Coole Park

We had a fantastic day at Coole Park.We visited the Visitor Centre and got an idea of life long ago at Lady Gregory's House.We visited the library,nursery and the wildlife section.We went on a nature walk and looked at many different kinds of trees.
Then we had a picnic and played games in the park!

Sports Day Fun!

We had great fun on Sports Day.We did the potato and spoon race,the sack race,the three-legged race and loads of fun races like the monkey and wheelbarrow race!

Rainbow spinners

We coloured our spinners red,orange,yellow,green,blue,indigo and violet..When they spin they turn white-all the colours of the rainbow make white!

Dancing raisins

We added raisins to fizzy water and the carbon dioxide in the bubbles made the raisins dance up and down!

We saw guinea pigs,a rabbit,a bearded lizard and a python snake!

Australia

We learned alot about Australia.We learned about the animals,the culture,the aborigines,the landmarks and much more.
We sketched the Sydney Opera House and made a frame for it.
We also created aboriginal dot paintings of various Australian animals.
